May, 2006 - An email on the New England Van's list got me to thinking and worrying about my wing attach bolts. The biggest problem is that I should have drilled out the wing bolt holes in the two main gear leg mount frames before I installed them. Now, it's too late, and it's going to be quite tricky resolving that. I emailed Van's about it, and got a comprehensive reply from Gus. IMPORTANT NOTE - make damn sure you drill out your tri-gear main gear leg frames to match the wing mount bolt holes BEFORE you install the gear leg frames. Otherwise, you will be very sorry. 0.5 hours
