BE SURE TO ALSO VIEW THE INTERIOR PAGES FOR INFO ON INSIDE CABIN DETAILS, LIKE CONSOLE, STICK GRIPS, ETC

AUGUST, 2009 UPDATE - If you're going to be installing grips with switches, especially Infinity Aerospace grips that require mods to the stick, BE SURE to do this BEFORE INSTALLING THE CONTROL STICKS, not after you've installed the sticks.   See August interior page for details

Jan 26, 2005 update - If you are building a 7 or 9 with tipup canopy, there is a new service bulletin issued Jan 21, 2005.  It strengthens the way the aft end of the F632A channel attaches to the F706A bulkhead.   Click HERE to see the Service Bulletin.  For details regarding my F632A, see the MAY, 2004 details section.

May, 2006 - An email on the New England Van's list got me to thinking and worrying about my wing attach bolts.  The biggest problem is that I should have drilled out the wing bolt holes in the two main gear leg mount frames before I installed them.  Now, it's too late, and it's going to be quite tricky resolving that.  I emailed Van's about it, and got a comprehensive reply from Gus.  IMPORTANT NOTE - make damn sure you drill out your tri-gear main gear leg frames to match the wing mount bolt holes BEFORE you install the gear leg frames.  Otherwise, you will be very sorry.  0.5 hours
